About us

LiL Saint PiGnic BBQ Caterig is a catering company based in Brielle serving both business and private clients in NJ. We have been Bar-B-Queing and entertaining for over a decade with a large following. After many solicitations we were invoked to either open a restaurant or go into full scale catering. Since we specialize in smoked meats such as brisket, ribs or even pig roasts, we decided on catering. This allows us to put the time into each meal that is required to meet our expectations of what real BBQ is all about. Most of our meats are smoked for over 10 hours with hardwood charcoal and fruit wood, (Cherry, Apple, etc).
Lil Saint PiGnic Catering currently offers the following products and services:

· A variety of cuisine for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and appetizers
· Wait service
Through subcontractors, Lil Saint PiGnic Catering offers:
· Event equipment and furniture rentals
· Cakes
· Non-alcoholic, wine, beer, and liquor beverage service​​​
Our catering company serves private, corporate, and non-profit events with food, drinks, event management and other services. Events are generally held by clients in order to celebrate, communicate, or both.​​​
· Celebration: Parties and banquets as part of key events in life (birthdays, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, engagements, bridal and baby showers, retirement parties, etc.) or for a business (holiday or end-of-year parties, retirements, honoree galas, etc.)
· Communication: Events to communicate a message for the benefit of attendees or the press (product launches, press events, trade shows, conferences, presentations, lectures, fundraisers) or to stimulate discussion (corporate meetings, summits, etc.)​​​
​Who we are
Lil Saint PiGnic Catering is run by Sue and Dean Santulli
Sue runs the kitchen and finances. Her talent for pairing foods and preparing the best tasting dishes has earned her a reputation. Her sensible approach includes healthy substitutions such as replacing butter with olive oil whenever possible. Sue comes from a full blooded Italian back ground which embraces the intimacy of friends and family getting together for food and memories.
Dean runs the grill. Don’t call him a Pitmaster, he believes we are always learning so nothing is mastered. He begins preparing the meats days in advance and cooks overnight in many cases to give food a chance to take on a true BBQ flavor. He won’t use shortcuts like boiling ribs before you grill them or smothering pork in BBQ sauce in a crock pot.
Lil Saint was hired to cater the party for the 2012 Ocean County Fire Fighters Graduating Class
